Flick 10 — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Flick 10 is a multiplayer party game, and works differently from Confidant's private apps. Confidant's journaling and finance apps run entirely on your device. Flick 10 is played live with friends, so your game messages necessarily travel through a game server to reach the other players in your room. This policy describes exactly what that involves — and what we still refuse to do.

No accounts

There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile. You pick a display name each time you play; it can be anything and is not verified.

What passes through the game server

Microphone

The microphone is used only when you tap the mic button, and only to turn your speech into text on your device, using your device's own speech recognition. Audio is never recorded by us and never sent to our server.

What we don't do

If advertising is ever added to Flick 10, it will be non-personalised, this policy will be updated first, and the app's App Store privacy label will reflect it.

Data stored on your device

Your display name, theme choice and a session token (so you can rejoin a room) are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app removes them.

Children

Flick 10 is not directed at children under 13. Rooms are private and joinable only with an invite code or link.
